This morning we flew from Beijing to Xian. In the afternoon we toured the Shaanxi Museum, one of the best museums in China. There are a lot of ancient artifacts, including some from the nearby Terra Cotta Soldiers excavation site.
In the evening, we enjoyed a dumpling banquet at a dinner theatre. We were served 15 different kinds of dumplings. Delicious meal.
After dinner, the Tang Dynasty Dancing Show started.
There were elaborate sets and costumes.
This show was a huge improvement over the Peking Opera we had seen in Beijing.
It seemed that everyone really enjoyed it.
Anita is at the entrance to the Shaanxi Museum earlier in the day with a large friend. Another full day.
